KARACHI: A grand Defence of Pakistan rally was held in Karachi on the occasion of Defence Day, led by prominent business leader Faizan Rawat. A large number of citizens from different parts of the city participated in the rally, including members of the business community, youth, women, senior citizens and children.
The participants expressed their deep love for Pakistan and demonstrated a strong spirit of national unity. The atmosphere of Karachi resonated with slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Pakistan Armed Forces Zindabad,” while the participants reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to the security, sovereignty and defence of the country.
Addressing the rally, business leader Faizan Rawat said that there would be no compromise whatsoever on Pakistan’s security and sovereignty, adding that the nation was ready to sacrifice its body, mind and wealth for the country.
He said that the enemy should not remain under any misconception, as defending Pakistan is the foremost responsibility of every citizen. “Anyone who looks at Pakistan with hostile intentions will face a united response from the entire nation. The people of Pakistan stand shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces for the security and defence of the country,” he said.
Faizan Rawat said that the youth of Karachi had once again demonstrated that whenever the security and defence of Pakistan are at stake, all differences are set aside and the nation unites under one flag. He said the unity, enthusiasm and spirit displayed by Karachi’s youth were clear proof that the Pakistani nation would not hesitate to make any sacrifice for the defence, security and stability of the country.
He said, “Pakistan is our identity, our pride and our life, and protecting it is the responsibility of all of us.” He added that the traders, youth and citizens of Karachi were united for the defence and security of Pakistan.
Women, senior citizens, children and young people participating in the rally waved national flags and expressed their love for Pakistan, while reiterating their determination to make every possible sacrifice for the defence of the country.
Faizan Rawat said that Defence Day was not merely a historic day; rather, it reminds us that the entire nation must remain united to protect Pakistan’s freedom, sovereignty and security. He said Karachi had once again demonstrated that its citizens stood united and spoke with one voice whenever the security and integrity of Pakistan were concerned.
He further announced that the Defence Day Pakistan rally would conclude with a spectacular fireworks display, for which preparations had been completed. He said the event would feature what is expected to be the largest fireworks display in the history of District Central, providing a grand expression of the celebrations of Defence Day and the nation’s patriotic spirit.
At the conclusion of the rally, participants offered special prayers for the security, progress and prosperity of Pakistan. The gathering reaffirmed its commitment to national unity and patriotism amid resounding slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Pakistan Armed Forces Zindabad.”
