Major General Faisal Naseer has been appointed as the National Coordinator of the National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA).
The federal government of Pakistan officially issued the notification through the Establishment Division, confirming his appointment for a three-year tenure.
Prior to this role, Major General Faisal Naseer served extensively in key intelligence positions, notably as the Director General of Counter Intelligence, DG(C), within the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
Major General Faisal Naseer’s appointment is made under Section 9(1) of the NACTA Act 2013. The appointment is for a period of three years on a secondment basis. Faisal Naseer’s appointment takes effect immediately and remains in force until further orders.
