Deputy Commissioner West, Zulfiqar Ali Memon, accompanied by Chairman Town Municipal Corporation Manghopir, Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi, conducted a highly important, comprehensive, and detailed visit to various areas of Manghopir Town. On this occasion, in view of the recent rainfall situation, arrangements for drainage, sewerage systems, and sanitation were thoroughly reviewed.
During the visit, safety rings were immediately installed at locations where they were missing, while areas with accumulated rainwater were cleared on an emergency basis to ensure prompt drainage. Strict and clear instructions were issued on the spot to the concerned staff to eliminate any possibility of negligence, carelessness, or delay.
Furthermore, to make the sanitation and drainage process more effective, organized, and swift, special teams were formed, and the entire town was divided into different sectors. This ensured that each team could perform its duties efficiently and provide immediate relief to the public.
Both the Deputy Commissioner West and the Chairman Manghopir Town remained present in the field, directly supervising all ongoing work and ensuring immediate and effective solutions to issues on-site. This resulted in noticeable improvements in administrative performance and public service delivery.
On this occasion, Deputy Commissioner West Zulfiqar Ali Memon appreciated the outstanding performance of Chairman Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi and stated:
“The Chairman of Manghopir Town is actively engaged in resolving public issues with dedication, honesty, and a strong spirit of service. The measures taken under his personal supervision are not only commendable but are also directly benefiting the public, setting an excellent administrative example.”
He further added that due to exemplary coordination and effective communication between the district administration and the Town Municipal Corporation, issues are being resolved promptly, and this coordinated strategy will continue in the future.
Chairman Town Municipal Corporation Manghopir, Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi, in his detailed statement, said:
