SUKKUR: Professor Dr. Wahid Bux Jatoi, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Shah Abdul Latif University (SALU), Khairpur, conducted a comprehensive inspection of various designated examination centers in Sukkur in connection with the ADS/ADC/ADA Annual Examination 2025. The inspection was aimed at reviewing examination arrangements, ensuring transparency, maintaining academic discipline, and safeguarding the interests of students appearing in the annual examinations.
During the inspection visit, the Pro-Vice Chancellor, accompanied by Mr. Nazeer Ahmed Phulpoto, Controller of Examinations, visited several examination centers, including Islamia College Sukkur, Government Girls College Sukkur, Government Degree College Sukkur, Government College Thehri, and other affiliated examination centers in the region.
Special Focus on Islamia A/C College Sukkur
A significant part of the inspection was the visit to Islamia A/C College Sukkur, where the Pro-Vice Chancellor closely reviewed the arrangements made for candidates appearing in the annual examinations. The visit provided an opportunity for the university officials to assess the examination environment, seating arrangements, invigilation procedures, availability of essential facilities, and implementation of examination rules at the center.
Upon his arrival at Islamia A/C College Sukkur, Professor Dr. Wahid Bux Jatoi was received by Professor Muhammad Ishaque Memon, Principal Islamia A/C College Sukkur, along with the examination staff and concerned officials. The delegation was briefed in detail regarding the arrangements made by the college administration for the smooth and transparent conduct of the examination.
The Pro-Vice Chancellor inspected the examination halls and observed the ongoing examination proceedings. He reviewed the seating arrangements to ensure that candidates were provided with an organized and suitable environment and also examined whether the prescribed examination protocols were being implemented effectively.
Dr. Jatoi appreciated the efforts of the administration of Islamia A/C College Sukkur for making appropriate arrangements for the candidates and maintaining a disciplined atmosphere at the examination center. He emphasized that affiliated colleges have an important responsibility in ensuring the credibility, transparency and fairness of university examinations.
The inspection team also reviewed the facilities available to students and stressed the importance of providing candidates with a peaceful and conducive environment in which they can attempt their papers without unnecessary difficulties.
Examination Duty and Professional Conduct
During the inspection of the Islamia Science College Sukkur examination center, Prof. Rafique Soomro and Mr. Imtiaz Mahar were performing their examination duties. Their presence and active participation reflected the coordinated efforts of the college and examination staff in ensuring the smooth conduct of the examination.
The Pro-Vice Chancellor and accompanying officials observed the examination arrangements and appreciated the commitment of the staff members assigned to examination duties. The inspection also highlighted the importance of vigilant supervision by internal and external examination personnel to prevent any irregularities and to maintain the standards prescribed by Shah Abdul Latif University.
The university officials stressed that the role of invigilators is crucial in maintaining discipline inside examination halls and ensuring that every candidate is provided with an equal and fair opportunity to appear in the examination.
Inspection of Other Examination Centers
Following the visit to Islamia A/C College Sukkur and other centers, Dr. Jatoi continued his inspection of examination venues across Sukkur. At each center, he was received by the respective college principals, Internal Head Invigilators and External Head Invigilators.
The officials collectively inspected examination halls, observed the ongoing papers, reviewed seating plans, checked the overall examination environment and assessed the facilities being provided to candidates. Special attention was given to compliance with university examination rules and the prevention of any practices that could compromise the transparency and credibility of the examination process.
The Pro-Vice Chancellor expressed satisfaction with the overall arrangements and commended the principals, teaching staff, invigilation teams and university examination officials for their cooperation and dedication.

Speaking during the inspection, Professor Dr. Wahid Bux Jatoi emphasized that Shah Abdul Latif University is committed to conducting examinations in a fair, transparent and disciplined manner. He stated that regular monitoring of examination centers is an important part of the university’s quality assurance mechanism and helps ensure that students are able to sit their examinations in a secure and conducive environment.

The college principals who received the delegation at various examination centers included Madam Fakhrunisa, Principal Government Girls Degree College Sukkur; Professor Mushtaque Ahmed Phulpoto, Principal Government Degree College Sukkur; Professor Shahid Ahmed Khan, Principal Islamia Science College Sukkur; and Professor Muhammad Ishaque Memon, Principal Islamia A/C College Sukkur.
The visit to Islamia A/C College Sukkur was particularly significant as the university officials closely examined the arrangements and appreciated the college administration’s efforts to facilitate candidates and maintain a disciplined examination environment.
