Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Friday visited the Federal Constabulary Training Centre in Shabqadar area of Charsadda to review Anti-Riot Wing training and operational preparedness.
During his visit, Mohsin Naqvi praised the FC personnel for their professional skills and stressed the importance of maintaining law and order.
Mohsin Naqvi witnessed Anti-Riot Wing exercises and their professionalism for the security of sensitive locations and to control the protesters for the maintenance of a law-and-order situation.
Addressing the participants, Mohsin Naqvi said that no one will be allowed to destabilize and create a law-and-order situation in Pakistan. The law clearly defines the procedure for protest; no one objects to peaceful protest conducted within the bounds of the law, he added.
Mohsin Naqvi said that no one was allowed to engage in violence, vandalism, or the destruction of public or private property, or to disrupt law and order under the guise of protest.
He said that the State will use all available resources for the maintenance of law and order. He advised the FC personnel to keep themselves ready to tackle challenges
Mohsin Naqvi told the FC personnel that the government is providing the latest and state-of-the-art protection gear to them in order to enhance their operational preparedness. He also directed that masks be provided to every personnel of the Frontier Constabulary.
During his visit, Mohsin Naqvi ordered the reconstruction of all the washrooms of FC Headquarters. He asked one of FC personnel about the loadshedding situation. The FC personnel replied that there is no loadshedding nowadays and the situation is quite satisfactory.
Mohsin Naqvi directed immediate treatment of one of FC’s personnel’s mother.
During the briefing, Mohsin Naqvi was told that FC personnel from all the provinces, including Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan, are taking part in the training programme and 35 female personnel are also getting training for the first time.
Inspector-General of Frontier Constabulary and Deputy Inspector-General Training, DO FC, and other high officials were also present on the occasion.
