A spiritual gathering in celebration of the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad Mustafa ﷺ was organized at Joneja House, located in Phase 2 of the Sindh University Employees Cooperative Housing Society, Jamshoro.
The Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ gathering was organized by Rais Rustam Ali Jonejo, Nadir Hussain Jonejo, Mehboob Ali Jonejo, Ashiq Jonejo and Barkat Jonejo. A special arrangement for khairat fi sabeelillah was also made for the forgiveness and reward of the late mother, wife of the late Sakhi Haji Muhammad Ibrahim Jonejo.
A large number of people attended the gathering to participate in the religious event and earn spiritual reward. The programme included Quran recitation, a Milad gathering and Naat recitation.
Speaking on the occasion, Khalifa Maulana Ubaidullah Haidri shed light on the life and teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. He said that the Seerat of the Holy Prophet ﷺ provides valuable guidance for every aspect of human life.
He emphasized that the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ promote equality, kindness, good character and respect for every human being. According to him, no person should consider himself superior to another, as all human beings deserve dignity and respect.
Maulana Ubaidullah Haidri also highlighted the importance of respecting elders and treating children with love and compassion. He urged people to avoid causing hardship to their neighbours and to stand by them in times of happiness and difficulty.
He further stressed the importance of visiting the sick and helping people in need. He said that following these teachings can help create a peaceful, compassionate and harmonious society.
During the gathering, renowned Naat reciters presented Naats in praise of the Holy Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Their recitations created a deeply spiritual atmosphere and renewed the faith and devotion of those attending the gathering.
The participants listened attentively to the religious speeches and Naat recitations and expressed their devotion and love for the Holy Prophet ﷺ.
The gathering concluded with a special prayer for the forgiveness of the deceased and for the acceptance of the reward of the charitable activities carried out in their memory.
Prayers were also offered for peace, prosperity and well-being of the Muslim Ummah.
Following the conclusion of the religious programme, food prepared as part of the Eid Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ charity was distributed among the participants and attendees.
The organizers thanked all those who attended the gathering and contributed to making the event successful. The ceremony ended in an atmosphere of devotion, brotherhood and goodwill.
