The government has increased the prices of petrol and diesel, according to a notification issued by OGRA.
Under the new prices:
Petrol: increased by Rs0.39 per litre, reaching Rs341.98 per litre.
High-speed diesel: increased by Rs2.40 per litre, reaching Rs370.69 per litre.
The new prices took effect from August 25, 2026.
The increase means motorists and transport operators will face higher fuel costs, which could also put additional pressure on transportation and other prices.
