Rizwan Ahmed Fikri Discharged After Successful Treatment

KARACHI (Staff Reporter): Rizwan Ahmed Fikri, Secretary Information of Meri Pehchan Pakistan (MPP) and Chairman of the Supreme Council of KOWA, has been discharged from a local hospital after successful treatment and an endoscopy.

Fikri remained under treatment for five days and was discharged after recovering. Renowned gastroenterologist and liver specialist Dr. Shoaib Siddiqui supervised his treatment and advised him to take complete rest for one week.

Former Sindh governor and MPP patron Dr. Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan offered special prayers for Fikri’s complete recovery, long life and success. He described Fikri as a valuable member of the organization and praised his services.

MPP leaders and members also visited Fikri to inquire about his health and expressed their best wishes for his speedy recovery.

Several political, social and government figures also visited him, including representatives of the Pakistan Peoples Party, Jamaat-e-Islami, MQM-Pakistan, MQM (Afaq), Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz, Officers Welfare Association, Sindh Qaumi Alliance, Muhajir Ittehad National Movement and various non-governmental organizations.

Governor Sindh’s Principal Secretary Dr. Saifur Rehman, Akhtar Bugti, Abdul Kabir Qazi, Niaz Abbasi and Additional Chief Secretary Home Sindh Iqbal Memon were also among those who visited him. Friends, relatives and colleagues also expressed their good wishes.

The visitors appreciated Rizwan Ahmed Fikri’s journalistic, social and organizational services and expressed hope that he would fully recover soon and resume his responsibilities.

Fikri thanked all his well-wishers, friends, political and social leaders and colleagues for their prayers and support. He said their love and prayers gave him courage and strength during his illness.
