Dadu: A dignified and memorable farewell ceremony was organized at Government Boys Primary School Long Khan Chahwan in honor of retiring Headmaster Haji Sahib Khan Chandio, who rendered his teaching and administrative services for many years. A large number of teachers, students, respected village elders, friends, and people associated with the education sector attended the ceremony.
The ceremony was presided over by the newly appointed Headmaster of the school, Mr. Ghazi Khan Kharl. During the event, Haji Sahib Khan Chandio’s long teaching career, educational services, efforts for student development, and contributions toward improving the school were highly appreciated.
The participants honored Haji Sahib Khan Chandio by presenting him with a traditional Sindhi topi, Ajrak, and garlands of flowers as a symbol of Sindhi culture, hospitality, respect, and affection.
The atmosphere of the ceremony became emotional and filled with respect as fellow teachers and friends recalled his valuable services and expressed their best wishes and prayers for his future.
Addressing the ceremony, various speakers said that a teacher plays a vital role in society, as teachers are responsible for educating generations and building the future. During his teaching career, Haji Sahib Khan Chandio not only spread the light of knowledge but also fulfilled his responsibilities toward the moral training, discipline, and educational development of students.
The speakers stated that Haji Sahib Khan Chandio remained associated with the education sector for more than 30 years and educated several generations. Many of his former students are now serving in different fields, which is a great honor and source of pride for any teacher.
On the occasion, the teachers said that retirement may mark the end of government service, but the contributions of a sincere teacher and the impression he leaves in the hearts of his students never fade. Haji Sahib Khan Chandio’s dedication to education, punctuality, cooperation with colleagues, and affection toward students will always be remembered.
During the ceremony, the guests and teachers prayed for Haji Sahib Khan Chandio’s good health, safety, prosperity, and long life.
