On the instructions of SSP District South, Mahzoor Ali, daily combing and search operations are being carried out in various areas of District South.
Today’s major combing and search operation was conducted in the P&T Colony and surrounding areas within the jurisdiction of Gizri.
The operation was supervised by the SDPOs of Defence, Darakhshan, and Clifton, while the SHOs of Gizri, Defence, Boat Basin, and Clifton performed duties along with their respective police contingents.
During the operation, all entry and exit points were sealed and the entire area was cordoned off, after which detailed searches of hotels, shops, temporary residences, and residential houses were carried out.
These operations are being conducted on a daily basis to arrest criminal elements and to maintain law and order in the district.
