LARKANA : The Gomi Bai Ladies Club Larkana organized a dignified and joyous Independence Day celebration on August 14 for its esteemed members. The event was attended by Ladies Club President Dr. Ghulam Sakina Gad, First Vice President Dr. Aneela Asran, Second Vice President Pari Chandani, General Secretary Farida Parvez, Joint Secretary Fakhr-un-Nisa Khaskheli, Finance Secretary Hamida Khaskheli, Co-Finance Secretary Jahan Ara Sheikh, Information Secretary Zakia Pirzado, Co-Information Secretary Fahmida Abro, and other members.

During the ceremony, rich tributes were paid to the historic struggle for Pakistan’s independence and the sacrifices rendered for the country. The members jointly cut an Independence Day cake and offered special prayers for the security, stability, prosperity and development of Pakistan.

Addressing the gathering, office-bearers of the Gomi Bai Ladies Club said that August 14 was a symbol of unity, freedom and national solidarity. They emphasized that all citizens should sincerely perform their responsibilities and promote the spirit of love, brotherhood and unity for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.

The ceremony was held in an atmosphere filled with joy, patriotism and national spirit. Participants expressed their love and devotion to Pakistan and also raised enthusiastic slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad.”
