There has been an increase in dog bite cases reported at public and private hospitals in Karachi.
According to hospital authorities, a total of 3,040 dog bite cases have been reported at various hospitals across the city so far this year.
Officials said that since January 1, around 700 dog bite cases have been reported at Jinnah Hospital, while about 1,000 cases have been recorded at Civil Hospital during the same period.
In addition, 20 dog bite cases have been reported at a private hospital located on Stadium Road.
