Grand and Impressive Independence Day Celebration Held at Muhammad Hussain Boys & Girls Elementary School, Manghopir Town
Karachi: A grand, dignified and enthusiastic ceremony was organized at Muhammad Hussain Boys & Girls Elementary School, Manghopir Town in connection with Independence Day, in which Chairman Town Municipal Corporation Manghopir, Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi, participated as a special guest. He was accompanied by Vice Chairman Manghopir Town, Rana Muhammad Arif. Students, teachers and other distinguished guests also participated in the ceremony in large numbers. The purpose of the event was to promote the spirit of patriotism among the younger generation and to create awareness about the struggle for the establishment of Pakistan and the importance and value of independence.
On the occasion of Independence Day, the students demonstrated their talents by presenting national songs, speeches and beautiful and meaningful tableaus. The performances presented by the children with the national flag of Pakistan further strengthened the feelings of patriotism and national unity among the participants.
The ceremony formally commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by a Naat-e-Rasool-e-Maqbool ﷺ presented by the students. After the recitation of the Holy Quran and Naat, the students delivered speeches regarding Independence Day, highlighting various aspects of the establishment of Pakistan, the struggle for independence, the sacrifices of the founders of Pakistan, national responsibilities and love for the motherland.
The tableaus presented by the students were a special highlight of the ceremony. Through these tableaus, beautiful messages of the struggle for Pakistan’s independence, national unity and love for the country were conveyed, which were greatly appreciated by the audience. The enthusiastic and impressive performances by the children filled the atmosphere of the ceremony with patriotic spirit.
Later, the students presented various national songs, expressing their love for Pakistan as well as their aspirations for national unity and the progress and prosperity of the country. During the national songs, students, teachers and other participants expressed their enthusiasm and patriotism by waving the national flag.
On this occasion, Chairman Town Municipal Corporation Manghopir, Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi, addressed the gathering and said that Pakistan came into being as a result of a great struggle, countless sacrifices and unwavering determination. He said that independence is a great blessing, and its value and protection are a collective responsibility of all of us. He added that our elders made countless sacrifices for the creation of Pakistan; therefore, it is our responsibility today to play our role in the development, prosperity, stability and progress of our beloved country.
Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi said that the younger generation is the future of Pakistan, and instilling patriotism, national unity, discipline, tolerance and positive thinking in children is an important need of the time. He said that Independence Day is not merely about celebrating a single day; rather, it reminds us of our commitment to utilize all our abilities for the progress and prosperity of Pakistan.
He further said that education has fundamental importance in making Pakistan a strong and developed country. Educational institutions are not merely centers for providing academic education but also play an important role in character-building and preparing responsible citizens for the future. He said that students should focus on their education while also being aware of the history, culture, national values, duties and responsibilities of Pakistan.
Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi appreciated the tableaus, national songs and speeches presented by the students and said that the enthusiasm and abilities of the children reflect that the future of Pakistan is in bright hands. He also paid tribute to the school administration and teachers for their efforts in guiding and training the children and making the Independence Day celebration memorable.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, a special prayer was offered for the security, development, prosperity, stability and progress of Pakistan. The participants expressed their resolve to play their full role in the development, national unity and prosperity of their beloved country.
The Independence Day ceremony concluded with the pledge that Pakistan is our identity, our hope and our future, and that we will continue to play our role in making it a strong, prosperous, peaceful and developed country.
