Iqbal Market Police Operation: Suspect involved in street crime arrested, weapons and cash recovered

Iqbal Market police have arrested a suspect involved in street crime. According to the spokesperson of West Police, the operation was carried out based on a confidential tip under the instructions of SSP West.

During the operation, the police arrested Hamza Ali, son of Ghulam Ali, from whose possession illegal weapons along with ammunition and cash were recovered. The recovered weapons and other items were taken into police custody.

A case has been registered against the arrested suspect under the Sindh Arms Act, and investigation has been initiated.

According to the police, the suspect is a habitual criminal and has previously been arrested in various serious cases and served time in jail.

Checking his criminal record revealed that he had previously been arrested in Case No. 355/2025 under Section 23(i)A of the Arms Act, Pakistan Bazaar Police Station, and Case No. 490/2020 under Sections 392/34 of the Pakistan Penal Code, Pakistan Bazaar Police Station.

The spokesperson of West Police stated that operations against elements involved in street crime will be intensified further to ensure the safety and security of citizens and their property.
