Dadu: Ceiling plaster suddenly collapsed with a loud bang inside Talib-ul-Moula High School in Dadu, creating panic and fear among students and teachers. Fortunately, no student or teacher was injured, and the students narrowly escaped what could have been a serious accident.

Around 2,000 students are currently enrolled at Talib-ul-Moula High School. However, the deteriorating condition of the school building and cracks in its ceilings have reportedly put the lives of students and teachers at risk.

Teachers on duty at the time of the incident told the media that shortly after the recess ended, students were returning to their classrooms when pieces of the ceiling suddenly fell with a loud noise. Fortunately, the students escaped unharmed. The teachers said that cracks have also appeared in other parts of the building, creating fears that another ceiling could collapse at any time.

The teachers further stated that about a year ago, ceiling plaster from several rooms of the school had also fallen, forcing a number of classrooms to remain closed. Due to the shortage of classrooms and the large number of students, the remaining classrooms are overcrowded, causing serious difficulties for both students and teachers during educational activities.

Following the incident, frightened students raised strong slogans and demanded that immediate steps be taken to protect their lives. They called for the dilapidated school building to be repaired or reconstructed on an urgent basis.

The teachers and students appealed to the relevant Education Department authorities and the district administration to take immediate notice of the incident, arrange a technical inspection of the school building, secure all dangerous classrooms, and take permanent measures to eliminate the risk posed to the lives of students and teachers.
