NEW DELHI: An active-duty Wing Commander of the Indian Air Force (IAF) has been arrested by Delhi Police for allegedly sharing sensitive defence information with a woman he had befriended on social media, according to Indian media reports.

Reports said the 44-year-old officer was arrested on May 30 and is currently in judicial custody at Tihar Jail.

Alleged Sharing of Defence Data

According to media reports, Delhi Police allege that the Wing Commander installed data-stealing software on the mobile phone of his social media acquaintance and subsequently shared sensitive defence-related information with her.
