Samaro (District Reporter Ahmed Khan Bharghari): Residents and citizens staged a protest outside the Samaro Press Club against the alleged opening of a liquor shop, locally known as a “gato,” near Paper Mori in Meghwar Colony.

The protesters carried placards and raised strong slogans demanding the closure of the alleged liquor shop. They expressed concern that the presence of such a shop could negatively affect the social environment and peace of the locality.

Speaking to the media, protest leaders warned that if the alleged liquor shop was not removed from the village, they would expand their protest and organize sit-ins across the district.

The protesters urged the local administration to take immediate notice of the concerns of residents and take necessary steps to close the alleged liquor shop.
