The Ministry of Religious Affairs has decided to introduce a new digital system for the private Hajj scheme during the 2027 Hajj operation.
According to the plan, the new system will be designed in line with Saudi Arabia’s Nusuk Masar system. The aim is to make the private Hajj process more organized, transparent, and digitally managed.
Under the new arrangement, Hajj bookings will be made through the Ministry of Religious Affairs instead of directly through private Hajj operators.
This will be the first time that both the government Hajj scheme and private Hajj operation will come under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Sources said that the private Hajj scheme will be operated through the government’s official Pak Hajj mobile application. Pilgrims will be able to use the digital system for booking and other Hajj-related procedures.
The new system is expected to bring major changes to the way private Hajj services are booked and managed in Pakistan. Instead of relying mainly on private operators for bookings, the ministry will play a central role in the entire process.
The decision is also aimed at improving transparency and reducing problems faced by pilgrims during the booking process. A centralized digital system could make it easier for the government to monitor applications, payments, packages, and other arrangements.
