Sanghar: A ceremony was held at the SSP Office Sanghar on the occasion of Police Martyrs’ Day, where police martyrs were paid rich tribute for their sacrifices in maintaining peace and protecting the lives and property of citizens.
According to details, the ceremony began with a police contingent presenting a salute to the martyrs. SSP Sanghar Shah Nawaz Chachar and other police officers laid floral wreaths at the martyrs’ memorial and offered prayers for the departed souls.
Addressing the ceremony, SSP Sanghar Shah Nawaz Chachar, Federal Peace Committee member Rajesh Kumar Hardasani, DSP Sanghar Mukhtar Ahmed Memon, Assistant Commissioner Sanghar Shafiq Ahmed Arisar, Federation of Commerce representative Haji Yamin Qureshi, and other speakers said that police martyrs are the true heroes of the nation who sacrificed their lives for the restoration of law and order and the protection of public safety.
The speakers said that the sacrifices of martyrs are unforgettable and the entire nation pays tribute to their great services. They added that Sindh Police would always remember the sacrifices of its martyrs and take all possible measures for the welfare of their families.
They stated that the peace and stability present in society today is due to the countless sacrifices of these martyrs, and the police force will continue performing its duty of serving the public and protecting the country with the same spirit and dedication.
The ceremony was attended by police officers, personnel, families of martyrs, members of civil society, representatives of the Chamber of Commerce, journalists, and other community members.
