KARACHI: Gold prices declined sharply in Pakistan on Saturday, with the price of 24-karat gold falling by Rs3,700 per tola, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association (APGJA).
Following the latest decrease, the price of one tola of gold now stands at Rs426,736.
The association also reported a decline in the price of 10 grams of gold, which fell by Rs3,202 to Rs365,857.
Meanwhile, in the international bullion market, the price of gold dropped by US$37 per ounce, bringing it down to US$4,043 per ounce.
Gold prices in Pakistan generally fluctuate in line with trends in the global bullion market and movements in the exchange rate, with local rates updated daily based on international market conditions.
