Dubai: Pakistan opener Sahibzada Farhan has moved up to second place in the latest ICC Men’s T20 International Batting Rankings, overtaking India’s Abhishek Sharma.

The updated rankings were released after India completed a 3-0 clean sweep over Zimbabwe in their three-match T20I series, resulting in several changes across the batting and bowling charts.

Farhan now occupies the No. 2 position with 848 rating points, while India’s Abhishek Sharma has slipped to third place with 819 points.

India’s Ishan Kishan continues to lead the T20I batting rankings with 910 rating points, maintaining a comfortable advantage at the top.

Among the other Pakistani batters:

  • Saim Ayub is ranked 41st with 560 rating points.
  • Former captain Babar Azam remains 43rd with 555 points.
  • Pakistan’s T20I captain Salman Ali Agha is 45th with 547 points.

In the ICC T20I Bowling Rankings, Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed has retained his second position with 736 rating points.

Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan continues to hold the No. 1 ranking, while England leg-spinner Adil Rashid remains in third place.

Other Pakistani bowlers also registered positive movement in the latest rankings:

  • Mohammad Nawaz is ranked 10th.
  • Fast bowler Salman Mirza has climbed one place to 15th.
  • Shaheen Shah Afridi has also moved up one position to 30th.

The latest ICC rankings highlight Pakistan’s growing presence in T20 International cricket, with players featuring prominently among both the world’s leading batters and bowlers. Sahibzada Farhan’s rise to the No. 2 position marks one of the most significant changes in the latest update and reflects his strong performances in the shortest format of the game.
