ISLAMABAD: Pakistani YouTube channels are gaining increasing recognition around the world, with local creators attracting larger audiences both at home and internationally, according to a new report released by YouTube.
The report describes Pakistan as one of the world’s most dynamic YouTube creative communities, highlighting the growing influence of Pakistani artists, content creators, and innovators who are introducing new forms of creative expression on the platform.
According to the report, viewers in Pakistan and overseas are watching Pakistani YouTube content in record numbers. It says the country’s creators are building a distinct identity and reaching audiences across different regions of the world.
YouTube’s data shows significant growth in the number of successful Pakistani channels. More than 140,000 channels in Pakistan now have over 10,000 subscribers, while more than 19,000 channels have surpassed 100,000 subscribers.
The report also reveals that over 1,200 Pakistani YouTube channels have crossed the milestone of one million subscribers, reflecting the rapid expansion of the country’s digital content industry.
The company said the continued rise in viewership demonstrates the increasing global appeal of Pakistani content and the growing role of local creators in the international digital media landscape.
