Tando Jam (Bozdar) – As part of the annual Urs of Dada Saeen Syed Haji Muhammad Yousuf Shah (RA), Anjuman Ghulaman Qalandar Welfare Pakistan organized a one-day free medical camp under the guidance and instructions of Saeen Syed Ghulam Haider Shah Qalandari. The event, held in collaboration with PPHI Sindh, provided essential healthcare services, including medical check-ups, medicines, ambulance support, and vaccination facilities to devotees and local residents.
The central medical department of the organization supervised the camp, ensuring that qualified doctors and paramedical staff were available throughout the day. The free medical camp catered to visitors who had traveled from across Sindh and other parts of Pakistan to attend the Urs, as well as residents of nearby villages. Services included comprehensive health check-ups, blood screening, and vaccination drives to promote preventive healthcare among attendees.
In case of any medical emergencies, the PPHI ambulance and staff were also on standby, ensuring timely and effective response to patients requiring urgent care. The camp aimed not only to provide immediate healthcare support but also to raise awareness about maintaining good health and the importance of early diagnosis and treatment.
The head of Anjuman Ghulaman Qalandar Welfare Pakistan, Saeen Syed Ghulam Haider Shah Qalandari, praised the medical team for their dedicated services and emphasized the need to expand the scope of such healthcare initiatives in the future. The camp’s activities were well-structured, beginning with registration and initial assessment of patients, followed by detailed consultations and diagnostic services. Patients received free medicines based on their diagnoses, while those requiring further attention were guided for follow-up care. Blood screening services were available to detect common health conditions, and vaccination facilities were provided to children and adults to prevent infectious diseases.
The camp served as an essential platform for community health engagement, offering preventive care and education alongside direct medical services. By providing free healthcare facilities, the organization contributed to reducing the burden on local hospitals and clinics, particularly during large public gatherings such as the annual Urs.
The initiative was widely appreciated by both attendees and local community leaders, with many acknowledging the importance of such services in promoting public health. The success of the camp demonstrates the effective coordination between Anjuman Ghulaman Qalandar Welfare Pakistan, PPHI Sindh, and the participating medical professionals, ensuring that healthcare reaches even those in remote and underserved areas.
In addition to medical services, the camp also fostered community solidarity and awareness about the organization’s broader mission of welfare, education, and social development. The event emphasized the importance of volunteerism and community service, inspiring both medical professionals and local youth to contribute to similar humanitarian initiatives in the future.
