TEHRAN: Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that Iran did not make a single concession to the United States in the recently concluded 14-point agreement, insisting that the country’s rights and national interests remain fully protected.

Addressing a meeting of the Supreme Judicial Council, President Pezeshkian said that none of the provisions of the agreement required Iran to retreat from its rights, principles, national interests, revolutionary values, or ideological beliefs.

“The Islamic Republic has not compromised on a single point,” he said, adding that a careful review of the agreement demonstrates that most of its achievements favor Iran.

According to the president, there is no clause that provides a unilateral advantage solely to the United States, rejecting suggestions that Tehran had made concessions during the negotiations.

Commitment to National Interests

Pezeshkian reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to safeguarding the country’s sovereignty and interests, saying the government would continue defending the nation “until the very last moment.”

At the same time, he stressed the importance of adopting a realistic approach toward the consequences of resistance.

He said that when a nation chooses to stand firm against its adversaries, it must also be prepared to accept the challenges and sacrifices that accompany such a decision.

“In times of conflict, it is unrealistic to expect a society to face no hardships,” the Iranian president said, emphasizing that resilience often comes with economic and social difficulties.

His remarks come amid ongoing regional tensions and continued international attention surrounding the recently announced 14-point agreement between Iran and the United States.
