The federal government has issued retirement notifications for two senior officers of the Police Service of Pakistan upon reaching the mandatory retirement age of 60 years.

According to notifications issued by the Establishment Division, Grade-21 Police Service officer Muhammad Idrees Ahmed will retire from government service on October 18, 2026. The notification states that Idrees is currently serving as an Additional Inspector General in the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

In a separate notification, the Establishment Division announced that Grade-20 Police Service officer Captain (Retd) Feroz Shah will retire on September 14, 2026 after attaining the prescribed retirement age. Feroz is presently serving as an Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Establishment Division, according to the notification.

The Establishment Division stated that both officers are retiring upon completion of the prescribed age of 60 years under government service rules.

Official retirement notifications have been issued for both officers, marking the conclusion of their careers in the Police Service of Pakistan after decades of public service.
