The United States has released the second portion of classified files related to unidentified flying objects (UFOs), commonly referred to as “flying saucers,” according to the Department of Defense.

The newly released documents reportedly include 222 files containing various references and reports from the public and military personnel. One of the files contains 116 pages of observations and investigations conducted between 1948 and 1950 at a classified facility in New Mexico.

Officials said the collection also includes 209 reported sightings near military bases, adding to decades of unexplained aerial observations recorded by U.S. authorities.

US Secretary of War Pete Hegseth stated that the time has come for the American public to review such information directly, emphasizing greater transparency regarding UFO-related records.

However, experts reviewing the released material say that the documents do not provide any conclusive evidence of alien technology or extraterrestrial life. They note that while the reports document unusual aerial phenomena, none of the findings confirm the presence of alien spacecraft or non-human intelligence.

The release has once again sparked public interest and debate in the United States regarding unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs), a subject that has gained increased attention in recent years following government disclosures and declassified military footage.
