Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah said on Wednesday that the government was still open for a dialogue with the PTI over the latter’s long march towards Islamabad.

Addressing a news conference, he said that all issues should be resolved at the negotiating table.

At the same time, he urged PTI to refrain from what he called preferring its own interests to national interests. “You just cannot make the state meet your demands by holding it hostage,” Rana Sana said, and added that the PTI’s agenda was to create political instability in the country.

He said that the people of KP were giving sacrifices in war on terror. “While on one hand, bodies of martyrs were ready for the funeral, on the other hand, PTI leaders and workers were busy in the long march.”
