Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday said that terrorism in KP would have to be eliminated at all costs.

He was speaking to Federal Minister for Kashmir affairs and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) Amir Muqam. 

Matters related to Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), GB and KP came under discussion at the meeting.

The prime minister directed the minister to take effective steps to ensure the provision of facilities to the people of Kashmir and GB so that they could become prosperous.

He said that the government attached top priority to the progress and development of AJK and GB.   

Asserting that the government valued the sacrifices given by the people of KP in fight against terrorism, PM Shehbaz said it was his desire that development in the province should be at par with other provinces of the country.
