Under the supervision of Chairman Town Municipal Corporation Manghopir, Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi, development activities are underway across Manghopir Town to provide better basic civic facilities to citizens and improve important roads. In this regard, Chairman Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi personally visited the site and inspected the ongoing work to make the main road from New Nazimabad to Manghopir Police Station motorable. He reviewed the progress, pace and quality of the work in detail.
Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi reviewed various stages of the ongoing development work and obtained details from the concerned officials regarding its progress and current situation. He stressed that quality and durability must be given top priority in the work to make the road motorable and that no negligence or lapse should be allowed during the construction process, so that citizens can have better and long-lasting travelling facilities.
During the inspection, Chairman Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi also met directly with the citizens present at the site. He inquired about the traffic and transportation situation in the area, the difficulties being faced by residents and other basic civic issues. He also sought citizens’ opinions regarding the ongoing development work and asked how they felt about the pace and quality of the road work. Citizens were also instructed to report any difficulty or complaint they may face during the work.
Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi listened attentively to the issues, complaints and suggestions presented by the citizens and issued necessary instructions to the concerned officials. He said that resolving public issues requires maintaining direct contact with citizens and giving due importance to their views regarding development projects, as the fundamental objective of any development work is to provide practical and long-lasting facilities to the public.
He said that the main road from New Nazimabad to Manghopir Police Station is an important route in the area, used daily by a large number of citizens. Making the road motorable will not only facilitate transportation for citizens but will also reduce daily travelling difficulties and help improve the flow of traffic.
Chairman Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi said that providing better basic civic facilities to the people of Manghopir Town is among his priorities. Along with improving roads, necessary measures are also being taken according to the requirements to address sanitation, sewerage and other basic civic issues. He said that the purpose of monitoring ongoing development projects is to ensure that works carried out using public resources are completed according to required standards and that their benefits reach citizens directly.
He said that development work should not remain limited to office files and paperwork, but its results should also be visible practically on the ground. Therefore, he is personally visiting different areas to inspect ongoing projects, obtaining updates from the concerned officials and maintaining direct contact with citizens to understand their opinions and problems.
Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi directed the concerned officials to ensure that the work to make the main road from New Nazimabad to Manghopir Police Station motorable proceeds at the required pace, while maintaining quality and durability at every stage of the work. He made it clear that there would be no compromise on quality in any development work related to public facilities and that all necessary measures would be taken to complete the work properly.
He further said that development activities would continue in different areas of Manghopir Town while keeping public needs and priorities in view. Available resources are being utilized effectively to provide citizens with better roads, basic facilities and an improved civic environment, while the process of identifying and resolving public issues through on-site visits will also continue.
On the occasion, citizens discussed their issues and suggestions with Chairman Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi and also shared their views regarding the ongoing development work. Haji Nawaz Ali Brohi assured the citizens that steps would be taken to resolve their issues on a priority basis through the concerned officials and that the ongoing work to make the main road from New Nazimabad to Manghopir Police Station motorable would continue to be monitored regularly.
