A Pakistani military cadet, Sardar Arsām Abbas, has been awarded the prestigious title of Overall Best Foreign Military Cadet at the Royal Military College (RMC) Duntroon in Australia, marking a significant achievement for Pakistan’s armed forces.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the honor was conferred during the passing-out parade held on May 5 in Canberra. The event marked the successful completion of rigorous military training by cadets from various countries.
The commissioning parade was reviewed by Lieutenant General Simon Stuart, Chief of the Australian Army, who inspected the graduating cadets and acknowledged their performance. The ceremony was attended by members of the diplomatic corps, including Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Australia, as well as families of the cadets and senior officials from the Australian Defence Force.
The award for Best Foreign Military Cadet is given to an international trainee who demonstrates exceptional performance across all areas of military training, including leadership, discipline, academic excellence, and physical fitness. Winning this distinction is considered a mark of outstanding capability and professionalism.
ISPR highlighted that this achievement reflects the high standards, dedication, and professional competence of Pakistan Army’s young leadership. It also underscores the quality of training and preparation that Pakistani cadets receive before representing the country at international military institutions.
Sardar Arsām Abbas has now become the 14th Pakistani cadet to receive this honor at RMC Duntroon, further strengthening Pakistan’s reputation in international military training programs.
