ISLAMABAD, Apr 25 (APP):President Asif Ali Zardari Saturday termed the successful launch of Pakistan’s indigenously developed Electro-Optical Satellite (EO-3) under the auspices of SUPARCO as a historic development.

He said that the successful launch of the EO-3 satellite is a clear manifestation of Pakistan’s self-reliance, scientific expertise and growing capability in space technology.

He appreciated the professional skills of SUPARCO engineers and scientists and said that their hard work is aligning Pakistan with modern requirements.

The President also appreciated the continuous and reliable cooperation of China, Pakistan’s close friend, in the space sector and said that this collaboration is playing an important role in bilateral scientific and technological progress.
