Islamabad: The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) has announced the results of the Intermediate Part-I and Part-II examinations, with female students once again dominating the top positions.
According to Federal Board Chairman Dr Ikram Ali Malik, the overall pass percentage among students who appeared in the examinations stood at 85.95 percent.
In the Pre-Medical group, Amara Azhar secured the first position with 1,079 marks. Muhammad Jahanzeb stood second with 1,078 marks, while Syeda Iman Fatima secured third position with 1,076 marks.
In the Pre-Engineering group, Iman Arjumand claimed first position with 1,075 marks. Zainab Sami secured second position with 1,070 marks, while Anza Fatima stood third with 1,068 marks.
In the Commerce group, Aqsa Farooq topped the group with 1,051 marks. Aiza Afzal secured second position with 1,047 marks, followed by Amina Asif in third place with 1,046 marks.
Meanwhile, in the Humanities group, Iman Fatima secured first position with 1,007 marks. Amina Azhar stood second with 1,003 marks, while Yahya Fazil and Umair Raza shared third position after obtaining 1,002 marks each.
The results once again highlighted the strong performance of female students across several academic groups, with girls securing the majority of the top positions.
FBISE Chairman Dr Ikram Ali Malik said that the overall success rate of the students who appeared in the examinations was 85.95 percent.
