The Hyderabad District Police has issued a clarification regarding reports concerning the delay in the payment of first salaries to 594 newly recruited police personnel belonging to Hyderabad district.
According to the Hyderabad District Police spokesperson, all matters relating to the release of the first salaries of the 594 recently recruited police personnel are being processed on a priority basis.
The police department clarified that the delay in payment has occurred primarily because of the completion of various necessary administrative and verification procedures. These include the verification of the recruits’ particulars, official documents, personal information and other relevant records required before the first salaries can be formally released.
The department said that the required documentation and verification process is an essential part of the procedure for newly recruited employees. The completion of these formalities is necessary to ensure that all records are accurate and that the salaries are released through the proper official channels.
The Hyderabad Police acknowledged that a delay in the payment of the first salaries had caused concern among the newly recruited personnel. However, the department assured the recruits that the matter was being dealt with seriously and that all necessary steps were being taken to complete the process as soon as possible.
SSP Hyderabad Shahzeeb Chachar is personally supervising matters related to the first salaries of the newly recruited police personnel, according to the official statement. The SSP has also been issuing continuous instructions to the relevant departments and officials to expedite the required administrative and verification procedures.
The department further stated that the authorities concerned were working to complete all outstanding formalities on a priority basis. Once the necessary office work and verification stages have been completed, the payment of the first salaries to the recently recruited personnel will be ensured at the earliest possible opportunity.
The Hyderabad District Police emphasized that the delay should not be interpreted as a denial or cancellation of the recruits’ salaries. Rather, the department said, the payment process is currently undergoing the required administrative procedures.
The newly recruited personnel have been advised to remain patient and exercise restraint while the process is completed. The department said that it was fully aware of the concerns and difficulties being faced by the recruits and was making efforts to resolve the matter without unnecessary delay.
The police authorities reiterated that the first salaries would be released immediately after completion of all necessary official and verification requirements.
The clarification comes amid concerns regarding the financial difficulties that newly recruited police personnel may face because of delays in receiving their first salaries. As newly appointed employees, the recruits are awaiting the completion of formalities required for their names and employment records to be fully processed through the relevant government systems.
The department said that verification of personal particulars and supporting documents was being carried out as part of the standard recruitment and appointment procedure. Such verification is necessary to ensure transparency, accuracy and compliance with official requirements before salary payments are initiated.
SSP Hyderabad Shahzeeb Chachar has directed the relevant branches to continue working on the matter and complete the remaining requirements as quickly as possible. The department said that the senior police officer was personally monitoring progress to avoid further unnecessary delays.
The Hyderabad Police also assured the newly recruited personnel that their concerns had been taken into consideration and that the department was committed to facilitating the release of their first salaries as soon as the procedural requirements were fulfilled.
The spokesperson urged all 594 recently recruited police personnel to cooperate with the relevant departments during the verification process and to remain patient until the remaining formalities are completed.
The department reiterated that the matter was being treated as a priority and that officials were taking all possible measures to accelerate the process.
