Pakistan has strongly condemned what it described as an unprovoked attack by Israeli forces on the Abu Al-Duhur airbase in Syria’s Idlib province.

According to the report, Foreign Office Spokesman Tahir Andrabi said the attack was a provocative and unprovoked act and a clear violation of international law.

Foreign Office Spokesman Tahir Andrabi warned that continued Israeli attacks could further harm peace and stability in the region.

Andrabi said Pakistan reaffirmed its full respect for and support for Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. He also said Pakistan continued to support peace and prosperity in Syria.

Pakistan called on the international community to play its role in ending what it described as continued violations of international law by Israeli forces.

The Foreign Office urged the international community to hold Israeli forces accountable for actions that contribute to instability in the region and called for an end to violations of international law.

Meanwhile, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, according to the Foreign Office.

The two foreign ministers discussed the regional situation and agreed to continue working together to promote peace and stability in the region.
