LAHORE: A proposed schedule has been revealed for a three-nation ODI series to be hosted by Pakistan, with England and Sri Lanka joining the home team.
According to sources, the tri-nation ODI series is proposed to be played from October 18 to November 1. The first phase of the series is planned for Rawalpindi, followed by matches in Lahore.
The proposed schedule includes matches in Rawalpindi on October 18, 20 and 22.
The second phase is scheduled to take place in Lahore, with matches proposed for October 25, 27 and 29. The final of the tri-nation series is proposed to be played in Lahore on November 1.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is expected to finalize the schedule after consultation with the cricket boards of England and Sri Lanka.
Sources said the final schedule will be announced once all participating boards reach an agreement.
The Sri Lankan cricket team is also scheduled to play two Test matches and three T20 matches during its tour of Pakistan. Discussions are currently underway regarding the dates and venues for the Sri Lankan team’s other matches.
The proposed tri-nation series is expected to provide valuable international cricket action for Pakistan while giving England and Sri Lanka an opportunity to prepare for their upcoming assignments.
