LARKANA: The anti-polio vaccination campaign is continuing across Larkana district under tight security arrangements by the police.

On the directives of SSP Larkana Ahmed Chaudhry QPM, PSP, special security measures have been put in place to protect polio teams working across the district.

Police personnel have been deployed alongside polio workers in different areas, including urban and rural localities, major roads and sensitive locations. The arrangements are aimed at ensuring that the vaccination campaign is completed smoothly and peacefully without any disruption.

Police officers are continuously monitoring the security arrangements during the movement of polio teams from one area to another. Station House Officers (SHOs) of the concerned police stations have also been directed to ensure effective patrolling and close surveillance within their respective jurisdictions.

SSP Larkana Ahmed Chaudhry said that protecting children from polio is a collective responsibility of everyone. He appealed to parents to cooperate fully with the polio teams and ensure that all children under the age of five receive polio vaccination drops.

Larkana Police said that all available resources are being utilized to ensure the safety and security of polio workers, children and citizens throughout the campaign.

The police have reaffirmed their commitment to providing a safe and peaceful environment so that the anti-polio campaign can be successfully completed across the district.
