Residents claimed that instead of conducting a detailed assessment of the problems faced by the community, the visit remained very brief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Residents said they repeatedly requested the assistant commissioner to visit different parts of the colony and examine the situation on the ground. However, they claimed that their requests were not addressed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Media representatives also said they attempted to interview the assistant commissioner and obtain her position on the issues affecting Labour Colony. According to them, she declined to speak to the media and did not provide any statement regarding the purpose or outcome of her visit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eyewitnesses claimed that the assistant commissioner did not engage with either the media representatives or residents present at the site and left the area after a short stay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Local residents said that several basic civic problems continue to affect Labour Colony.
