The demonstration was led by President of State Life Field Workers Sukkur Zone Hafiz Ali Mardan Sahto, General Secretary Muhammad Saleh, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Ghotki District General Secretary Qaiser Khan, Citizens Alliance General Secretary Saleh Samejo, Muhammad Nawaz Mirani, Muhammad Irfan Mughal, Mahmood Mehr, Ali Murad Soomro, Mian Jameel Ahmed Soomro, Manzoor Ahmed Lashari, and other leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">While speaking to the media, the protesters alleged that Sector Head Ali Hassan Bhutto was involved in financial irregularities and corruption between 2024 and 2026, claiming that millions of rupees were allegedly misappropriated. They further alleged that installments and other payments submitted by several policyholders were not properly recorded in official records, causing financial losses to affected customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The protest leaders claimed that they had repeatedly informed Sukkur Zonal Head Gulzar Ali Randhawa about the issue and provided complaints along with evidence. However, they alleged that no effective action had been taken despite the passage of several months. They further claimed that the matter was being suppressed due to the alleged backing of influential officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">PML-N Ghotki District General Secretary Qaiser Khan said that State Life is a national institution and any financial irregularities could damage the reputation of the organization. He demanded an independent and transparent inquiry into the allegations, legal action against those found responsible, and the return of funds to affected policyholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">President of State Life Field Workers Sukkur Zone Hafiz Ali Mardan Sahto alleged that employees raising their voices against corruption were being harassed. He claimed that field worker Muhammad Nawaz Mirani was allegedly subjected to violence and later arrested through police intervention. He called for an impartial investigation into the incident, stating that such actions discourage employees from bringing facts to light.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Senior field worker Ghulam Abbas said that he had been associated with State Life for several years and had not witnessed complaints of this nature in the past. He alleged that irregularities had recently emerged in the collection of loan payments and policy installments, which required a complete investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Affected field worker Muhammad Nawaz told the media that when he went to deposit a policyholder\u2019s payment at the cash counter, he was allegedly threatened and later arrested through what he described as a false case. He demanded an impartial inquiry and action against those responsible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The protesters appealed to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), anti-corruption authorities, the Chairman of State Life Insurance Corporation, senior management, and relevant institutions to conduct a transparent and unbiased inquiry into the allegations against Ali Hassan Bhutto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They demanded that he be removed from his position during the investigation, legal proceedings be initiated if the allegations are proven, and measures be taken to ensure the recovery and return of affected policyholders\u2019 funds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Note:<\/strong> The allegations mentioned in the report are claims made by protesters and have not been independently verified.
