The highest rainfall figures included <strong>47 millimetres in Gowalmandi, 44 millimetres in Kacheri, and 28 millimetres in Pirwadhai<\/strong>. Other areas also received rainfall, including <strong>32 millimetres in New Katarian, 27 millimetres in Bokra, 23 millimetres at the PMD station, and 19 millimetres in Shamsabad<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Managing Director of <strong>WASA Rawalpindi<\/strong> said that staff equipped with heavy machinery were present in low-lying areas to deal with any emergency situation. He added that blockages in drainage channels caused by previous rains had been removed, while monitoring of city drains and <strong>Nullah Lai<\/strong> was continuing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He said water flow in the drains remained normal and uninterrupted, with teams remaining alert to handle any possible urban flooding situation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meanwhile, rainfall was also reported in various parts of Lahore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Meteorological Department stated that a combination of weak monsoon currents and a western weather system is affecting northern parts of the country.
