Governor Sindh stated that 2025 was also the year of Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) dominance in Pakistan, which played a crucial role in strengthening economic direction and investor confidence. He termed Chief of Defence Forces Field Marshal Asim Munir as the central and defining figure of 2025, acknowledging his leadership and contribution to national stability and security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to Governor Tessori, Pakistan remained in the global spotlight throughout 2025 due to its strategic importance, diplomatic engagements, and performance in various sectors. He said that the country\u2019s growing international relevance was a clear indication that Pakistan was moving forward with renewed strength and confidence despite internal and external challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Highlighting achievements in sports, the governor said that the year ended on a particularly joyful note when Pakistan\u2019s young cricket team defeated India, bringing immense happiness to the nation. The governor also took the opportunity to thank the people of Karachi and the entire province of Sindh at the conclusion of 2025.
