{"id":9248,"date":"2026-08-03T12:36:39","date_gmt":"2026-08-03T12:36:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=9248"},"modified":"2026-08-03T12:36:40","modified_gmt":"2026-08-03T12:36:40","slug":"sharjeel-memon-alleges-2024-election-rigging-repeated-in-ajk-polls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=9248","title":{"rendered":"Sharjeel Memon Alleges 2024 Election Rigging Repeated in AJK Polls"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>ISLAMABAD:<\/strong> Sindh Senior Minister <strong>Sharjeel Inam Memon<\/strong> has alleged that the rigging witnessed during Pakistan&#8217;s 2024 general elections was repeated in the recently held elections in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking to the media in Islamabad, Memon claimed that the ruling party&#8217;s alleged manipulation in AJK was an extension of what he described as the <strong>&#8220;Form 47 government,&#8221;<\/strong> accusing the federal and Punjab governments of joining forces to defeat the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He said the events of <strong>February 8, 2024<\/strong>, had been repeated in AJK, adding that the latest exercise was &#8220;even worse&#8221; than the previous one. He further alleged that the government had come to power through what he termed a &#8220;charity mandate.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Memon criticized a recent press conference by federal ministers, saying they showed no remorse and instead displayed arrogance.
