Dental Council (PMDC)<\/strong> has issued an advisory for Pakistani students studying medicine in Afghanistan, stating that graduates from Afghan medical institutions will <strong>not be eligible to practice medicine in Pakistan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the advisory, medical graduates from Afghanistan will <strong>not be granted registration by the PMDC<\/strong>, making them ineligible to obtain a license to practice in the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The council explained that Afghan medical institutions are <strong>not included in the list of recognized institutions maintained by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a result, graduates from these institutions <strong>will not be eligible to appear in Pakistan&#8217;s National Registration Examination (NRE)<\/strong>, which is a mandatory requirement for obtaining medical registration in Pakistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The PMDC has advised Pakistani students to <strong>verify the ECFMG recognition status<\/strong> of any foreign medical institution before seeking admission, in order to avoid future difficulties with registration and professional practice in Pakistan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The advisory aims to inform prospective students about the recognition requirements for foreign medical qualifications and to help them make informed decisions regarding their medical education
