{"id":9134,"date":"2026-08-03T09:19:43","date_gmt":"2026-08-03T09:19:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=9134"},"modified":"2026-08-03T09:19:44","modified_gmt":"2026-08-03T09:19:44","slug":"islamabad-high-court-extends-stay-on-50-additional-toll-tax-for-vehicles-without-m-tag","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=9134","title":{"rendered":"Islamabad High Court Extends Stay on 50% Additional Toll Tax for Vehicles Without M-Tag"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>ISLAMABAD:<\/strong> The <strong>Islamabad High Court (IHC)<\/strong> has extended its interim order restraining the <strong>National Highway Authority (NHA)<\/strong> from collecting an additional <strong>50 percent toll tax<\/strong> from vehicles without an <strong>M-Tag<\/strong> or with insufficient M-Tag balance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The order came during the hearing of a petition challenging the NHA&#8217;s notification introducing the additional toll charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the proceedings, the NHA submitted its <strong>written reply<\/strong> before the court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Justice <strong>Arbab Muhammad Tahir<\/strong> asked the petitioner&#8217;s counsel whether he had received a copy of the reply.
