A Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader on Sunday criticised a rival political party for what he described as “crying” after defeat, saying elections are won through performance rather than allegations and complaints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking during the ongoing electoral process, PML-N leader Marriyum Aurangzeb said that while complaints may sometimes attract sympathy and votes, “threats and accusations do not win elections.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He claimed that there was a visible surge of activity in PML-N camps across Punjab, including Muzaffarabad, adding that party supporters were actively participating in the voting process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The PML-N voter is turning out across Punjab, and the voters are in charge today. The whole of Pakistan is watching,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Addressing political opponents, the leader urged them to face the electoral contest with courage instead of making complaints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“You cannot fight an election by crying. You have to demonstrate your performance to the people,” he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Expressing confidence in his party’s prospects, he predicted that after Mirpur, the PML-N would also emerge victorious in Muzaffarabad and across Punjab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
