The marathon began from <strong>IBA Public School<\/strong> under strict security and excellent coordination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The full marathon covered a total distance of <strong>42.195 kilometers<\/strong>, while a <strong>10-kilometer run<\/strong> was organized specifically for women. The event featured <strong>more than 28 international athletes from 15 countries<\/strong>, including <strong>Kenya, Italy, Ethiopia, Morocco, Japan, Uganda, and the United Kingdom<\/strong>. In addition, <strong>over 3,000 participants<\/strong>, both men and women from various cities of Pakistan, took part alongside international runners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prominent officials present at the event included <strong>Chairman Lok Sahaita Marathon DIG Pir Muhammad Shah<\/strong>, <strong>Commissioner Sukkur Division Abid Saleem Qureshi<\/strong>, <strong>Mayor Sukkur Arslan Islam Sheikh<\/strong>, <strong>Secretary Universities and Boards Muhammad Abbas Baloch<\/strong>, <strong>Vice Chancellor Shah Abdul Latif University Dr. Muhammad Yousuf Khushk<\/strong>, <strong>Deputy Commissioner Nadir Shehzad Khan<\/strong>, <strong>ASP Saib Amin<\/strong>, <strong>Chairman Sukkur Board Dr. Zahid Chandar<\/strong>, and <strong>Agha Haroon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Strict security measures and well-organized arrangements ensured a safe and successful event, creating a vibrant atmosphere and enthusiasm among the citizens of Sukkur and sports lovers. International athletes and Pakistani participants showcased world-class performance while running through various routes of the city.
