PESHAWAR:<\/strong> Law enforcement agencies have killed an alleged militant believed to be the mastermind behind the deadly attack on the Khazina Banda police check post in Hangu, where a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and nine other police personnel lost their lives last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to police officials, security forces launched an intelligence-based operation after receiving information about the movement of 15 to 18 suspected militants<\/strong> near the Chhapri Naryab area of Hangu district. During the operation, security personnel engaged the suspects, resulting in the killing of a highly wanted militant who was allegedly responsible for planning the assault on the Khazina Banda check post.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
