{"id":8597,"date":"2026-07-30T12:39:59","date_gmt":"2026-07-30T12:39:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=8597"},"modified":"2026-07-30T12:39:59","modified_gmt":"2026-07-30T12:39:59","slug":"elderly-farm-worker-dies-after-alleged-assault-in-naushahro-feroze-police-await-post-mortem-report","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=8597","title":{"rendered":"Elderly Farm Worker Dies After Alleged Assault in Naushahro Feroze, Police Await Post-Mortem Report"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>NAUSHAHRO FEROZE:<\/strong> A 57-year-old farm worker died following an alleged assault over a dispute related to irrigation water in <strong>Pir Pandhi village<\/strong>, near <strong>Bhiria City<\/strong>, police and family members said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to initial reports, the deceased, identified as <strong>Muharram Rajpar<\/strong>, had gone to agricultural land in connection with a water distribution turn when the alleged incident took place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Police reached the scene after receiving information, shifted the body to a nearby hospital, and initiated legal formalities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The victim&#8217;s family staged a protest outside the hospital, demanding the immediate arrest of those they hold responsible for the death.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking to the media, the deceased&#8217;s son, <strong>Shahid Ali Rajpar<\/strong>, alleged that his father was attacked by <strong>Mureed Rajpar, Anwar Rajpar, Umar Rajpar<\/strong>, and others during the dispute. He claimed the suspects assaulted his father by kicking and punching him and allegedly strangled him, resulting in his death. <strong>These allegations are those of the family and have not been independently verified.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The family appealed to the <strong>SSP Naushahro Feroze<\/strong> and <strong>Bhiria Police<\/strong> to arrest the accused promptly and ensure justice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hospital doctor <strong>Dr. Usman Junejo<\/strong> said no visible external injury marks were found on the body during the initial examination. He stated that, following the post-mortem examination, biological samples would be sent to a laboratory in <strong>Rohri<\/strong> for forensic analysis. The exact cause of death will be determined after the laboratory and post-mortem reports are completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When contacted, Bhiria Police confirmed that officers had recovered the body from the scene and shifted it to the hospital. Police said the investigation is ongoing and that a criminal case will be registered based on the findings of the medical report and the complaint submitted by the victim&#8217;s family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Police also stated that raids are being conducted to apprehend the individuals named in the allegations.
