recovering <strong>millions of rupees<\/strong> in outstanding dues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The campaign was carried out on the directives of <strong>SEPCO Chief Executive Officer Ijaz Ahmed Channa<\/strong>, <strong>Superintending Engineer Abdul Haq Siyal<\/strong>, and <strong>Executive Engineer Khalil Chandio<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The operation targeted <strong>Ghanta Ghar<\/strong>, its surrounding areas, and <strong>Takkar Mohalla<\/strong>, where SEPCO teams inspected electricity connections and took action against consumers involved in power theft and non-payment of electricity bills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The drive was led by <strong>SDO Sub-Division One Ramzan Asghar Malik<\/strong>, accompanied by SEPCO officials, while <strong>Sindh Rangers<\/strong> provided security to ensure the operation was conducted smoothly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the campaign, officials disconnected several electricity connections found to be involved in illegal power usage and recovered <strong>millions of rupees<\/strong> from consumers with outstanding electricity bills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking after the operation, <strong>SDO Ramzan Asghar Malik<\/strong> said SEPCO would continue its campaign against electricity theft and defaulters <strong>without discrimination<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He urged consumers to <strong>pay their electricity bills on time<\/strong> and use electricity through legal connections, emphasizing that power theft not only causes financial losses to the utility but also affects the quality and reliability of electricity supply for law-abiding consumers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Malik warned that <strong>strict legal action<\/strong> would be taken against anyone found involved in electricity theft or other violations of electricity laws, adding that similar operations will continue in different areas of Sukkur as part of SEPCO&#8217;s efforts to improve revenue recovery and curb illegal electricity
