HYDERABAD, July 27:<\/strong> Hyderabad Police arrested nine suspects, including a woman<\/strong>, during a series of operations against criminal elements, drug traffickers, and suppliers of Mainpuri and Gutka, officials said on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The operations were carried out on the directives of DIG Hyderabad Range Tariq Razaq Khan Dharijo<\/strong> and SSP Hyderabad Shahzeb Chachar<\/strong> as part of an ongoing campaign against crime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hosri Police Station<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

SHO Inspector Liaquat Ali Qambar<\/strong>, along with his team, conducted multiple raids based on intelligence reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the first operation, police arrested Imtiaz Panhwar<\/strong> and Sultan Abro<\/strong>, alleged suppliers of Mainpuri. Officers recovered 500 ready-made Mainpuri packets<\/strong> from their possession. A case (Crime No. 303\/2026) was registered under Section 8 of the Gutka and Mainpuri Act<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In another raid, police arrested Haji Muhammad Baloch<\/strong> and recovered 160 grams of hashish (charas)<\/strong>. A case (Crime No. 304\/2026) was registered under Section 9(1)3(A) of the Narcotics Act<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During a third operation, police arrested Farhan Ansari<\/strong>, described as a notorious suspect, and seized 10 litres of locally brewed liquor<\/strong>. A case (Crime No. 305\/2026) was registered under Sections 3\/4 of the Prohibition (Hudood) Ordinance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tando Jam Police Station<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

SHO Inspector Ayaz Ali Baghio<\/strong> and his team arrested a female drug supplier, Zar Bano<\/strong>, during patrol duty. Police recovered 1.262 kilograms of hashish<\/strong> from her possession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the same operation, another suspect, Sabir Baloch<\/strong>, was arrested with 820 grams of hashish<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Separate cases were registered against the suspects under the Narcotics Act<\/strong>. Zar Bano was booked in Crime No. 176\/2026<\/strong> under Section 9(1)3(C)<\/strong>, while Sabir Baloch was booked in Crime No. 177\/2026<\/strong> under Section 9(1)3(B)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Site Police Station<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

SHO Sub-Inspector Shaukat Ali Malokhani<\/strong> and his team arrested Sher Muhammad alias Shero<\/strong>, a suspect wanted by police, during patrol duty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police recovered 200 Mainpuri packets<\/strong> from his possession and registered Crime No. 109\/2026<\/strong> under Section 8 of the Gutka and Mainpuri Act<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fort Police Station<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

SHO Inspector Syed Faiz Ali Shah<\/strong> led another operation in which police arrested Nauman Sheikh<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police recovered six bottles of liquor<\/strong> from his possession and registered Crime No. 92\/2026<\/strong> under Sections 3\/4 of the Prohibition (Hudood) Ordinance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Budhani Police Station<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

SHO Sub-Inspector Ibrahim Buzdar<\/strong> and his team arrested Saleem Mallah<\/strong>, an alleged liquor supplier, during patrol duty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two of his accomplices managed to escape from the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Police recovered a total of 15 litres of locally brewed liquor<\/strong> from the arrested and absconding suspects. A case (Crime No. 32\/2026) was registered under Sections 3\/4 of the Prohibition (Hudood) Ordinance<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hyderabad Police said further investigations are underway and operations against criminal elements, narcotics dealers, and illegal Gutka and Mainpuri suppliers will continue across the district.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
