{"id":7950,"date":"2026-07-27T13:52:35","date_gmt":"2026-07-27T13:52:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=7950"},"modified":"2026-07-27T13:52:36","modified_gmt":"2026-07-27T13:52:36","slug":"hybrid-system-has-failed-pakistan-needs-national-dialogue-for-political-stability-liaqat-baloch","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/paksouch.com\/?p=7950","title":{"rendered":"Hybrid System Has Failed, Pakistan Needs National Dialogue for Political Stability: Liaqat Baloch"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>SUKKUR:<\/strong> Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Deputy Ameer Liaqat Baloch said the country&#8217;s existing hybrid system had failed, warning that Pakistan was moving rapidly toward deepening political and economic crises while national unity and cohesion faced serious threats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He expressed these views while addressing a condolence reference organised by the Association for Academic Quality (AFAQ) in memory of renowned educationist, former Jamaat-e-Islami Sukkur Ameer and former Sindh Teachers Organisation President, the late Kanwar Masood Ali Khan, at Tasty Hall in Sukkur. Later, he also spoke to the media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ceremony was also addressed by Jamaat-e-Islami Sindh Deputy Ameer Hafiz Nasrullah Aziz Channa, Deputy Secretary Maulana Hizbullah Jakhro, Sukkur District Ameer Zubair Hafeez Sheikh, the late Kanwar Masood Ali Khan&#8217;s sons Haris Masood and Abdul Basit, Rohri Municipal Committee Vice Chairman Aslam Memon, educationist Professor Ghulam Hussain Manganhar and others, who paid tribute to the late leader&#8217;s religious, educational and social contributions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Liaqat Baloch said the widening trust deficit between the public, political leadership and the civil-military establishment was creating serious challenges for the country. He maintained that political crises could not be resolved through the establishment alone, stressing that only a united political leadership working on a common national agenda could restore public confidence and achieve lasting political stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He added that political stakeholders could also develop consensus on future elections through dialogue and mutual understanding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Criticising the current governance model, Baloch said the existing system had become ineffective and burdensome for the people, blaming it for economic decline and rising hardships. He said soaring fuel and electricity prices, along with increasing taxes, had made life unaffordable for ordinary citizens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Referring to Pakistan&#8217;s upcoming 80th Independence Day on August 14, he questioned why the country&#8217;s national unity remained fractured and why relations between the federation and provinces were marked by mistrust.
